Six companies connected to Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew, are in the process of being dissolved following renewed attention surrounding recently released documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Public filings show that Ferguson is listed as the sole director of the six businesses. Applications to remove the companies from the UK’s official registry, Companies House, were submitted in recent days. In the United Kingdom, most registered businesses are required to file director information and annual reports through this government body.
The specific nature of the companies’ operations remains unclear. Records indicate that one entity provided public relations and communications services, while another was involved in retail. The companies applying for dissolution include Philanthrepreneur Limited, Fergie’s Farm Limited, La Luna Investments Limited, Solamoon Limited, Planet Partners Productions Limited, and S. Phoenix Events Limited.
The move comes shortly after the United States Department of Justice released additional documents tied to Epstein. The disclosure has led to renewed public discussion about individuals previously associated with him. Epstein had served a prison sentence after pleading guilty to charges related to soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Earlier statements from Ferguson’s representatives indicated that she ended her association with Epstein once she became aware of the seriousness of the allegations against him. However, the newly released documents suggest she may have remained in contact with him after his release from prison in 2009. The records reportedly reference a visit to Epstein in Miami shortly after he completed his sentence, as well as personal messages expressing appreciation and affection.
Ferguson’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have also drawn public attention after their names appeared in the latest batch of documents. It is important to note that being mentioned in the released files does not imply wrongdoing. Prince Andrew has previously denied any misconduct in connection with his past association with Epstein.
Separately, Ferguson’s charitable organization, Sarah’s Trust, recently announced it would suspend operations for the foreseeable future following internal discussions.
Under UK regulations, companies may apply to be struck off the register if they meet certain criteria, including not having traded within the previous three months.
